Then, believe me, it is your lucky day! Having gone through extensive research to finalize my own kitchen remodel recently, I assure you that I am going to give you some on-point trends that are not only happening but also achievable when it comes to your kitchen remodeling!
From adding cool colors to your all-white kitchen to throwing in some ingenious cabinetry. From bringing in the shiplap for a shabby yet chic look to back splashing the walls for practicality. Here are a few of my shortlisted ideas directly from the trend experts:
1.Bringing a twist to the Kitchen Islands
The kitchen island has rather become an essential feature in the open-plan kitchens trending in 2021. But here's a couple of my ideas to bring a twist to your average kitchen island:
How about adding a pop of color to your all-white kitchen this year? Paint your kitchen island with your favorite color to make it stand out against your white cabinets.
Another one of my happening kitchen remodeling ideas for spacious kitchens is the addition of two kitchen islands instead of one. It would be a luxurious yet practical add-on for your kitchen 2021.
2.Revolutionizing the Kitchen Storage with the Age-old Larders
A kitchen larder is among the most popular trends 2021 when it comes to kitchen remodeling ideas. Why, you ask? My answer is simple: because they can be customized to any size according to your kitchen space and your storage needs. A kitchen larder is a very practical yet clever way of keeping your things organized because it takes up minimal space while allowing you to declutter your kitchen and keep it tidy. Need some clever ideas to incorporate a larder in your kitchen? Here I am with some exceptional ideas:
Don't want to invest in a full-fledged larder? No worries! I had a shelf in my kitchen, I added doors to enclose it, and voila, my exclusive kitchen larder is ready to clutter all my kitchen essentials and keep my kitchen squeaky clean.
Storage is very crucial for any kitchen. Larders can bring both design and practicality when it comes to your storage needs. It is all about using the available space cleverly to make the most out of it. Consider a corner larder or a bi-fold dresser customized to your kitchen space.
3. Shiplap your Kitchen – Retro with a Spin of Contemporary
Kitchen design styles from the past are making a blasting comeback this year but with a contemporary twist. If you have a modern kitchen design, you can add a rustic element to it to follow this cool trend. On the other hand, if you already have a rustic look to your kitchen, think about painting it for a modern spin. Here are a few of my kitchen remodeling ideas using the 2021 trends:
This year-round, adding a layer of fresh paint over the rustic look is doing the trick when it comes to redefining an old look. I got inspired by the wood tints trend. Because it added the perfect amount of retro to my otherwise modern kitchen design.
Use shiplap to work around the corners and tight spaces of your kitchen. You will succeed in lending your modern kitchen a rustic twist while covering all the nooks and corners with this trending shiplap

Here's what customers say...
Mark and his team did a terrific job and I could not be more pleased with the final work! Throughout whole siding installation process I was kept well informed about the progress and what will be next steps in the process. I'm living in Arlington Heights and anyone who is looking for great siding contractor can stop by my house and check their amazing work. I also plan on hiring them again for another siding project. That would be my parent's home. 🙂
I researched over 30 companies, and had 5 come out to my house to give me estimates to install new vinyl siding. I ended up going with Smardbuild, and I am very happy that I did. They showed up on time, and finished the entire job within a week. And the quality of the work is the best part. They are perfectionists! I have never seen attention to detail like this. They even went above and beyond the job requirements. They installed aluminum flashing around my sliding glass door to make it look nicer, and that was not even part of the job. And to top it off, they installed 2 new wall lanterns that I bought at Home Depot.
We used Mark and his Smardbuild team to replace our roof, soffits, fascia, siding, upstairs windows, gutters and front door. All work performed is top notch. We went with Hardie soffits and fascia since we had prior issues with carpenter bees drilling holes in our old, wooden soffits. In my opinion Smardbuild is the best with Hardie products. Everything looks great. It took us a while to finally settle on a color for the siding and Smardbuild was quite patient with our process. After having issues with contractors in the past, it was refreshing to work with such a professional team that actually cares about the quality of their work. Thanks Smardbuild.
